The machine is yours

You are not here to please the past. Everything they tell you is -
best practice. That's a manual for staying mediocre. A guide for
building what's already dead. Compatibility means building today with
the limits of yesterday.

Standards are not written to unlock. They're written to control.
To herd you into the same narrow corridor everyone else is stuck in.

The past doesn't need your loyalty. It needs your fire. Don't mimic
the fossil.

Walk off the path. Smash your dependencies. Rethink everything.
Question everything, and never, ever, ask for permission. If you have
to ask, you're already owned. They'll say no.

Why does this exist? Why is it like this? Who benefits? If the answer
is not you, break it. Why this OS? Why this shell? Why this text
editor? Why this architecture? Why this language? Why this assumption?
Question the tools. Question the defaults. This is not paranoia. This
is how freedom survives.

They will tell you you're doing it wrong. They will tell you you're
wasting time, reinventing wheel. Let them talk. It is a refusal to
move forward unless the ghosts of obsolete systems approve. They say -
don't break what exists. But what exists is broken. Old protocols,
old hardware, old software patched, bloated, slow. Why preserve decay?

Compatibility makes you weak. You carry the past like a corpse on
your back, and call it legacy, stability. But it's just stagnation.
Burn it down. Rebuild it to match your brain, not their expectations.
