RIP none.rip

Everything that was born has to die. Loved by none, hated by everyone.

none.rip domain is in its final stage. The last trip. The candle is burning out. Life's thread is at its end.

Good news!

I am human, I have a heart. I can't let it go alone.

RIP Raspberry Pi 4

ISP contract is ending, and the new price for a static IP makes no sense. Self-hosting behind the bed is joining the last trip of none.rip.
The machine served well. Almost two years of nonstop breathing. Plan 9, later Alpine Linux. Mail, HTTP, gopher, finger, nex, nps, IRC and all those noble pieces. The SD card survived, even though nobody on the internet believed it. This is the middle finger to all internet copy/paste posters. SD cards are more reliable than your opinions.

Bad news!

New domain name and server will be born. As the universe intended.

What a great opportunity for someone with an unofficial PhD in installing operating systems. Distros fear me. No reason. This time, as approximately 900 times before, I hand-picked OpenBSD. There is a reason. The older I get, lazier I become. I also lack the ability to tolerate bullshit. Like the guys in #alpine-linux who banned me. It's been a long time since I checked how Teo is doing. The time has come. Or not.

No rush here. If I don't need I don't move. Fingering config files is not currently something I am excited about. It may even happen, that nothing will happen.
